This quilt was my first attempt at free motion quilting and I ended up having a melt-down of my old sewing machine with my determined quilting! I learned continuous curves and echo quilting around a simple design, but my machine would only go at the fastest speed so it was a big challenge trying to keep up with it. This little quilt is a reminder of what it was like to be a beginner and yet what a lovely quilt one full of mistakes can still be. It has been washed constantly over the 8 years I've had it and it gets softer and nicer all the time. Mountain Mist 100% Cotton batting.
